Cold Stone & Baskin-Robbins Roll Out New Items

Locally headquartered in Scottsdale, Cold Stone Creamery is now offering five new yogurt based items for a limited time.  The first three are part of the Yogurt Creations line and the last two are Yogurt Shakes:
  • Strawberry Crumble- Dreamy Vanilla Yogurt mixed with juicy Strawberries and Graham Cracker Pie Crust
  • Chocolate Banana Indulgence- Gratifying Chocolate Yogurt mixed with fresh Bananas and rich Fudge
  • Berries Upon Berries- Luscious Raspberry Yogurt mixed with sweet Strawberries and Blueberries
  • Shake Them Berries- Divine Vanilla Yogurt blended with sweet, juicy Strawberries, Raspberries and Blueberries
  • Powered By Chocolate- Enticing Chocolate Yogurt blended with rich Fudge
Meanwhile, Baskin-Robbins is celebrating March Madness with their 3-Point Chocolate Ice Cream which is made of "chocolate flavored ice cream with a salty caramel ribbon and orange-colored caramel pretzel balls."  Only around until the end of the month, the 3-Point Chocolate can be ordered in sundae form:
The 3-Point Chocolate Sundae is also available all month long as a decadent combination of 3-Point Chocolate ice cream, hot fudge, Reese’s® Peanut Butter Sauce, crushed Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and whipped cream.

Dunkin' Donuts Adds Angus Steak & Egg Sandwich

A recent press release from Dunkin' Donuts announced their newest breakfast item, the Angus Steak & Egg Sandwich.  The new sandwich is described by Dunkin' Donuts this way:
The Angus Steak & Egg Sandwich is made with juicy Angus beef topped with an egg and melted American cheese, freshly served on an oven-toasted onion bagel.
According to Dunkin' Donuts, the sandwich can be ordered any time of day, but will only be around for a limited time.  Nutritional information can be found here.

Dairy Queen's March Blizzard of the Month - Mint Oreo

Last month, Dairy Queen themed their Blizzard of the Month around Valentine's Day with Choco Cherry Love.  Now for March, DQ seems to be going green for St. Patrick's Day with Mint Oreo as their Blizzard of the Month.  The Mint Oreo Blizzard comes with "OREO® cookies pieces crumbled and tumbled with cool mint and creamy vanilla soft serve."

Nutritionally, a medium size Mint Oreo Blizzard comes in at 740 calories, 25 grams of fat, 14 grams of protein, and 89 grams of sugar.

Subway's March $5 Featured Footlong - Jalapeño Tuna

Going from any sandwich on the menu for $5 to just one can be tough for consumers, but Subway is hoping their March offering will give you a kick and maybe clear out those allergy ridden sinuses.  The Jalapeño Tuna sub typically includes tuna, jalapeños, tomatoes, lettuce, and your choice of bread.

In terms of nutrition, you can check out this Subway site and calculate how many calories, fat, protein, etc. will be in the sandwich based on how you want the sandwich made.

Sweet Potato Tots Coming to Sonic Menu

A press release out earlier this afternoon by Sonic announced the launching of their new Sweet Potato Tots, which are just as you suspect, tater tots made from sweet potatoes.  According to Sonic, however, they will only be available for a limited time.

Additionally, Sonic will be offering their snack size Jumbo Popcorn Chicken for $1.99 after 8pm.

IHOP Offers Free Pancakes For 15 Hours To Benefit Children

For National Pancake Day, starting at 7am tomorrow (2/28) until 10pm, guests will be able to get a free short stack of IHOP's buttermilk pancakes.  In order to help raise money and awareness for the Children's Miracle Network:
IHOP guests are invited to make a voluntary donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. IHOP hopes to raise $2.7 million this year, with a goal to bring the total amount of funds raised to more than $10 million. To find a local IHOP or to donate online, visit www.ihoppancakeday.com.
