Schlotzsky's 40th Anniversary: $1.99 Small Original (10/4)

Tomorrow, October 4, Schlotzsky's will be celebrating their 40th anniversary by offering customers a small Original sandwich for $1.99. If you've never had one, the original comes with:

Lean smoked ham, Genoa and cotto salamis, and melted cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses layered with black olives, red onion, lettuce, tomato, mustard and our signature dressing on toasted Sourdough bread. (Contains milk, eggs, soybeans and wheat.)

Schlotzsky's Brings Back 3 Favorites

From now until November 27, Schlotzsky's will be bringing back three sandwiches as part of their Angus Round Up line. According to Schlotzsky's, the Chipotle Guaca-Beefsky, the French Dipsky and the Bacon Beefy Smoke Cheezy have been favorites in the past and that's why this will be their third time on the menu. The ingredients and nutrition are as follows:

• Chipotle Guaca-Beefsky - Shaved Angus roast beef, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and red onion, with Chipotle pesto and guacamole on a toasted jalapeño cheese bun. Small size: 697 calories, 35 grams of fat, 42 grams of protein.

• French Dipsky - Shaved Angus roast beef and melted mozzarella cheese on a toasted Sourdough bun, served with au jus dipping sauce. Small size: 552 calories, 22 grams of fat, 39 grams of protein.

• Bacon Beefy Smoke Cheezy - Shaved Angus roast beef, smoked cheddar cheese, bacon and Chipotle mayo on a toasted Sourdough bun. Small size: 758 calories, 42 grams of fat, 47 grams of protein.

Schlotzsky's Offers a New Sandwich and Two Old Favorites

If you enjoyed the Albuquerque Turkey and the Windy City Pastrami, you're in luck. Schotzsky's is bringing them back along with a new sandwich, Buffalo Chicken. The sandwiches are described in the press release this way:

Buffalo Chicken - Thinly sliced roasted chicken breast, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato and red onion, topped with Schlotzsky’s famous Louisiana hot sauce on toasted Sourdough bread and served with bleu cheese dressing on the side.

Albuquerque Turkey - Smoked turkey breast and crispy bacon with cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses layered with fire-roasted vegetables, chipotle mayonnaise, shredded lettuce, tomato on toasted Jalapeño Cheese bread.

Windy City Pastrami - Premium New York-style pastrami and melted Swiss cheese with Dijon mustard on our unique, toasted Dark Rye bread.
